Hi there! How is your day going? Has it been an amazing day full of love and beauty? Or has it been a rollercoaster of stress and unkindness? We all have our bad days, it's only natural, but what is important is knowing how to turn a bad day around into a good day or better yet a great day!
So here is the great news... we all choose how we feel, we decide if we have a good day or a bad day. If you do not agree, and you believe that others are responsible for your mood, than you would also be correct, but only because you are giving them the power to influence you. So let's work on giving you back the power so you can have more good days and less bad days!
Please remember that this is an exercise, and while you will see immediate results, you will need to actively practice this exercise on a regular basis for lasting results.
As you wake up in the morning, remain lying in bed until fully alert. Then in a comfortable sitting or lying position, clear your mind. Imagine a glass in the shape of your body, it is empty. Now begin to fill up the glass with the emotions you want to feel and experience today. Imagine the emotions filling the glass with clear, unpolluted water. As you are filling the glass, I want you to take your time and feel what each emotion feels like to you. Really feel the "love" and "beauty". If this is difficult for you, think of someone in your life the makes you feel the desired emotion. Think of someone who is such a beautiful person on the inside that it glows through them. Now, turn that feeling inward and fill your glass up with it. You should begin to feel the emotion vibrate through your entire body. Repeat for each emotion.
Just by spending five to ten minutes each morning on this exercise, I promise you will see amazing results! And the more you practice, the easier it will be. You will become aware of your emotions throughout the day and notice when your day shifts negatively, and will then be able to reset your emotions to put you back into a positive frequency with a quick three minute midday exercise.
It really is as easy as that! I would love to hear your feedback on your emotional state of mind and your results from this exercise.
